New water park Vana Nava Hua Hin will welcome pundits from next month.
Billed as Asia’s first water jungle, the brand new Vana Nava Hua Hin throws open its doors to the public on December 1st and is expected to bring in more to 300,000 visitors within the first year.
“We set out to create one of the best family leisure destinations in the region,” said Proudputh Liptapanlop, chief executive of Proud Real Estate, at the recent press conference.
“Together with our partners, who all share the same vision, we want to redefine ‘family entertainment’ with some of the world’s best and greatest slides and attractions, developed to the highest safety standards and using the most updated technology, while promoting the surrounding community and preserving the existing ecosystem.”
The water park, which has cost Bt1 billion, is equipped with Thailand’s most exciting rides and slides to date from Canada’s WhiteWater West Industries, the world leader in water attraction products, which have supplied equipment to more 5,000 water parks around the world in the past 30 years.
The park’s highlights include The Abyss, and the 31-metre-high Vana Nava Falls, which is said to be Asia’s tallest man-made mountain waterfall, as well as LED lighting in all the pools.
“Vana Nava Hua Hin is destined to earn a reputation as the best water park in the Asia Pacific region,” said Brian Walker Smith, vice president of sales of WhiteWater West Industries.
The water park is the first phase of a larger 35- rai mixed-use development that also consists of a 300-key family hotel and premium residences. With more than 200,000 trees on its 20-rai property, Vana Nava Hua Hin will literally become an “oasis of fun” that enhances Hua Hin’s image as a premier family destination.
“We stay committed to our vision to further elevate Hua Hin’s status as a world-class destination in order to generate a lasting positive economic impact for the entire community. With the completion of Vana Nava Hua Hin, the city will now have a first class leisure destination and we will be that much closer to achieving our goal,” Proudputh added.
Other slides and attractions include the Slide Jungle, a large tower with 6 of the fastest slides ever built and the Surf Zone consisting of a Double Flow Rider as well as a bar, a game arcade and live DJ station.
